Ferrets are funny.

In general, ferrets are a lot like kittens their whole lives.  All they want to do is play, sleep, or eat. Hon particularly likes pushing balls around, stealing my Christmas tree ornaments, and climbing up on the bookshelves or the table and nocking things off.  This is Hon with an ornament shaped Coke bottle. :)

More on snow

Evo is pretty funny in the snow.  Had a little trouble with this vid.  Hopefully this will work. :)

New toys, snow, and a ferret in my lap.

Greetings from the Grows!  Mushu is sitting in my lap helping me today. :)

We had a pretty good Christmas this year.  Got a few new toys ;) This is Evo playing with the light of the laser boar sighter Travis' sister got for him.

Travis also got an indoor remote control helicopter which both Evo and Hon enjoy watching and trying to catch.

This is Evo nearly catching it, but not grabbing on because he knows the rotors will smack him in the face, something he knows from experience.

Hon really did grab onto it at one point in time.  He would have carried it off if Travis hadn't stopped him.  The word ferret is derived from the Latin 'furittus' which means 'little thief' (Wikipedia). Some things do tend to go missing around our house. 

If you haven't heard, we've had a bit of snow around here lately.  We had a record breaking snowfall the week before Christmas and though Travis and I weren't all that excited, Evo was ecstatic! Finally, his kind of weather!

    He even likes sleeping in it!  I woke him up when I opened the front door to take this.  His nose was tucked into his belly with his feet before he looked up.  The snow behind him is about four feet deep.

Mushu is telling me it's time for bed now.  Happy New Year to you all!

For the kids

This is per request of my nephew.  Now he can watch Evo.  This is Evo listening to some wolves on my computer.
